About Kinderdance of Southwest Missouri

Kinderdance® for boys and girls, ages 3-5, is a developmental dance, motor skill, music, and fitness program. We strive to provide a fun and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our curriculum is designed to help young children develop coordination, balance, rhythm, and self-confidence through creative movement and music. At Kinderdance of Southwest Missouri, we believe that dance is a great way for children to express themselves and explore their creativity. Teachers

Kinderdance®

Kinderdance® for young children, ages 3-5, is a developmental dance, motor skill, music, and fitness program. Boys and Girls can be enrolled for up to 3 years with this 3 level program. Parents who want to give their child the opportunity to dance will love how Kinderdance® teaches the basics of Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Creative Movement while blending educational concepts. Children dance to original and familiar child friendly music while learning from Kinderdance® certified teachers / instructors. The program provides children with the potential to be creative, express themselves through movement, learn the foundations of ballet and tap, while building strong muscles, turn taking and social skills, self-confidence and self-esteem, all while age appropriate educational concepts that are already being taught in the daycare and practiced at home are reinforced.

KinderDance with Me®

(ages 15-24 Months) Little movers and their favorite adult are involved in cute upbeat class filled with interactive songs and props that are just right for them! The class curriculum offers age appropriate exposure to developmental milestones through dance and sensory-motor activities while nurturing the bond between caregiver and child. Kinderdance certified teachers / instructors guide and dance along with caregivers as they participate and learn to facilitate the natural exploration and progression of motor development through play, laying the groundwork for academic success as the children grow. Children will have a smooth transition from Kinder “Dance With Me ® ” into the two year old program, Kindertots, when they are ready!

Kindermotion®

Kindermotion® (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) is a fitness and sports readiness program with developmentally designed curriculum. Classes focus on education through motor skills, physical development, fitness, nutrition, creative thinking, and imagery which prepares students’ minds and bodies for athletic and academic pursuits.

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) in a non-spiritual, non-religious program that promotes the development of a strong and flexible body, increases balance, mind-body awareness and coordination, improves posture and alignment, reduces stress and anxiety, increases concentration, focus, and attention span.

Kindertots®

Two year old children love to explore. Such freedom allows for a variety of physical activities. Our program allows a two year old’s natural curiosity to flourish in a multitude of ways with an emphasis on movement exploration. Young children enjoy a challenge, and when they are given the opportunity to test their abilities, it is both developmentally appropriate as well as safe. Kindertots® is designed to develop gross motor skills, movement creativity, physical development, and body awareness while learning numbers, colors, shapes, and songs. Our trained dance teachers / instructors ensure a learning environment that is fun, safe, and full of care.

Kindergym®

Kindergym® is designed to provide boys and girls, ages 3-5, with fun activities including floor gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, gross motor development, and movement education. Music appreciation and academic readiness skills are incorporated into each activity as our Kindergym® instructors work to build each child’s self-esteem and independence. Mats, low safe beams, and obstacle courses are utilized throughout the curriculum. The proper timing and use of this program should enhance the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children while building their sense of self and others.
